Visit #6

Date: November 15, 2010
Time: 3:47 PM
Present Climate Conditions: Sunny, partly cloudy, minimal wind
Temperature: 52˚
Length of Day: 9 hours, 45 minutes
Sign of Organisms: Lots and lots of squirrels. I rolled over a log, and there were a ton of rollie-pollies. I also found some of these holes - maybe a chipmunk or something.
Other Observations: Basically all the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray - I'm just California Dreamin' on a winters day.

Visit #5

Date: October 25, 2010
Time: 4:46 PM
Present Climate Conditions: Partly sunny, 40 MPH winds
Temperature: 67˚
Length of Day: 10 hours, 36 minutes
Sign of Organisms: I heard some birds, but other than that - nothing.
Other Observations: Almost all the leaves have changed color except for at the very base of the tree. I also noticed some shiny stuff in the water, which I tested apart from the regular sample, but it didn't effect the amount of phosphorus in the water.

Visit #4

Date: October 13, 2010
Time: 3:54 PM
Present Climate Conditions: Overcast
Temperature: 62˚
Length of Day: 11 hours, 9 minutes
Sign of Organisms: I heard barely any birds and so barely any squirrels. It's getting pretty quiet.
Other Observations: The leaves seem to be falling more from the taller and bigger trees. It also seems like the more exposed the tree is, the more red/orange/yellow it's leaves are. As you can see in the 4th picture of "Lay of the Land", the trees are more covered, and their leaves are more green - this is the same way even in the weekly photo.

Visit #3

Date: October 5, 2010
Time: 3:58 PM
Present Climate Conditions: Sunny, Minimal wind
Temperature: 62˚
Length of Day: 11 hours, 32 minutes
Sign of Organisms: So there was this squirrel digging under a long, and after it left I walked over and looked at the whole. It was actually pretty deep...I think it was burying some acorns.
Other Observations: It's fall! The leaves are changin' color like crazy.
